the voyage

The voyage includes twelve refueling stops at various ports around the globe. We are shipping all the fuel from fuel sponsor, SGC Energia, to the different stops so that it will be ready at the dock when we arrive. In keeping with our environmental credentials, all the transportation of the fuel will be carbon neutral, through the purchase of carbon credits from www.downwithcarbon.org.

refuelling

Logistics is a key part of the project for reducing our overall time. On arrival in each refuelling stop, we’re looking to load fuel, water and provisions, service the engines, maximize media exposure and clear customs, all within two hours. So it all needs to be very organised.  Luckily, we have a great Ground Crew who arrive in advance, and some amazing local support, to help get everything ready.
