Earthrace is now a promotional world tour through Europe, across the Atlantic, Pacific and finally back to New Zealand via Australia. Companies interested in being host sponsor for one of more cities should contact Emily Penn. It is also possible to have the crew visit your school.
So far almost 100,000 people have been on board Earthrace since her launch back in New Zealand. Visitors have the chance to look around this unique, world record breaking, biofuel powerboat, rightly known as 'the coolest boat in the world'. It gives them the opportunity to learn more abut biofuel and other forms of renewable energy, as well as hopefully inspiring them to go back and lead more sustainable lives themselves. You could be part of it!
crew wanted
Wanted - volunteer crew including blue water qualified captain to skipper Earthrace, starting August or Setpember 2008. Voayges will include promotional tour around UK, followed by trip across Atlantic, Caribbean and Pacific.
