Join us for the adventure of a lifetime!
The Earthrace challenge is to set a new world record for a powerboat to circumnavigate the globe, starting in March 2008. It will do this as a carbon neutral project* running on 100% biodiesel, and we’re offering you the opportunity of a lifetime to be part of our team!
Join us on one or more legs on this action packed, record-setting adventure and put yourself into the record books!
Purchasing a leg will see you crew aboard the world’s coolest boat as it makes its way into environmental and maritime history!
In addition to getting the adventure of a lifetime, you will also:
- Pilot Earthrace during the leg
- Be an active, working member of the crew
- Participate in a world record setting event
- Be at the forefront of environmental change
- Receive a signed copy of skipper, Pete Bethune's book and a DVD and poster signed by the crew
Plus...bragging rights for a lifetime!
Participants are responsible for travel and accommodation to and from the leg. Once aboard, all room and board costs are covered by Earthrace.

*www.downwithcarbon.org Thanks to the generous support of many individuals and companies, Earthrace is able to offset the CO2 impact (including that produced by transporting the biofuel to the fuel stops along the route, the biofuel itself, and all travel by the ground crew) thorugh downwithcarbon.org, who use the funds to support a biofuel project in Egypt, bringing employment and sustainability to the local region.
